Patty Melvin is a certified instructor at Chipola Fitness. She has been teaching fitness classes for 20 years. She has a degree in Physical Therapy from University of Florida. Patty is married to David Melvin. She loves being a grandmother! Patty teaches spin classes as well as other fitness classes at Chipola. She is passionate about introducing people to group fitness and encouraging them to succeed in whatever exercise program fits their needs.
Danielle Payne has lived in Marianna for 16 years. She is a group fitness instructor at Chipola Fitness Center. She is certified in indoor cycling (spin) and currently working on several more certifications. Although, she has only been teaching for two years, she is a lifelong advocate for health and fitness. She has a bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Pittsburgh. Danielle is married and has two children. Her family and her health are her greatest blessings.
Kelly Swearingen has been a certified group instructor at Chipola Fitness Center for 25 years. She loves helping people start their fitness journey and is certified in indoor cycling, yoga, pilates, and piloxing. Kelly teaches barre, strength training and bootcamp. She is a Certified Personal Trainer and currently working on advanced Personal Training. She is married to Danny Swearingen and has two sons and 3 grandchildren whom are the apple of her eye.
Amanda Shores is a Certified Spin Instructor. I have been at Chipola Fitness Center teaching classes for almost 2 years. I am married to Luke Shores, have 3 biological children, and is a foster mom to many! My fitness goals are to make you comfortable where you are, push you to where you want to be, and to make you feel the strongest and healthiest you possible!!
Allison Stoutamire is a certified group fitness, Pilates, and Yoga instructor. Allison currently teaches the group fitness morning classes and the morning yoga classes. She has taught at Chipola fitness for the past 20 years. Allison is a graduate of Florida A & M University where she receives a bachelor of science degree in Occupational Therapy. With Allison’s background in all kinds of medical settings for rehabilitation, such as: acute care, outpatient care, skilled nursing, home health, school therapy, and pediatric outpatient rehabilitation, she realizes the importance of exercise and injury prevention techniques. Allison is high motivated to help anyone who wants to exercise and learn injury prevention techniques to promote a healthy lifestyle.
Genika Williams is a native of Jackson County and a licensed radiologic technologist. She is also the mother of two vibrant boys, whom you will most likely meet in her classes. Genika loves to dance and is a former softball star. With the training of her own personal trainer, she is not a stranger to intense workouts. Genika discovered that Dance2Fit combines an intense workout with dance making it a fun experience that really works! So come dance with Genika and feel the burn!
